This is such an excellent habitat. R...Nice writing! This is such an excellent habitat. Recently we traveled Black Canyon Road and part of Pamo Road (in a wimpy sedan) for the first time. Pamo valley is so much more accessible to us ordinary birders and normally would be more productive. Didn't know the trails were newly added (it seems motorbikes always found those places well ahead).
